We will have a Bible teaching or a recovery speaker each week. You do not need to be a member of Crossroad or any other church to participate. We are not a replacement for 12-step recovery, we are enrichment.
We have child care for children 6 months through 5th grade.

Hope Rising Recovery utilizes 12-step resources and peer support to encourage you on your journey to abundant health.

This is an opportunity for both the queer community and allies alike to play some games and be a part of a community at Hope Rising.

TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA WORKSHOP 🧘♀️
This offering is a quiet, supportive space created for women survivors of sexual assault or abuse-an invitation to reconnect with your body at your own pace, in your own way.
Through mindful movement, breath, and compassionate connection, this 3-hour workshop is designed to support healing in a grounded and respectful environment. You will be guided by experienced yoga instructors alongside a licensed therapist, with choice, safety, and autonomy at the center of the experience.

SOBER LIVIN: HOPE & HEALING FEST 2026
We’re inviting local organizations and resources to participate and share how they support our community, aiming to strengthen connections so those in need know where to turn for help. The event features family-friendly activities—swimming, music, food, a balloon artist, glitter tattoos, reptiles, and more—while supporting The HOFFA Foundation and their transportation program. All proceeds will fund free, one-way rides across Maryland to help individuals access treatment, bridging a critical gap in recovery and giving every person a chance to start their path to healing.

New Surroundings is hosting a Bingo Night Fundraiser on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Lisbon Firehall (16104 Fredrick Rd, Lisbon, MD).
