Al-Anon
Al-Anon Family Groups supports those affected by an alcoholic family member or friend. It helps loved ones cope with the stress of addiction while teaching them to be positive family members. Research indicates that alcohol abusers have better recovery outcomes with family support, making Al-Anon both a coping resource and a key factor in addressing the issue.

Alateen
Alateen, part of Al-Anon, supports young relatives and friends of alcoholics. It recognizes alcoholism as a family disease impacting everyone. Attending meetings helps young people understand the illness, realize they are not alone, and acknowledge they are not responsible for their loved ones' drinking. By sharing experiences, they discover solutions and hope for the future.

Adolescent Treatment Programs
We offer specialized inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for adolescents across Maryland, with outpatient services throughout central Maryland. Both in-person and telehealth services are available. All of our locations provide individual and group counseling, as well as access to addiction medicine specialists. Medication-assisted treatments (Suboxone/Buprenorphine, Vivitrol) are offered at all locations. Adolescent services are available in Baltimore, Westminster, and Rockville.

Community Mediation Center
The Carroll County Community Mediation Center (CCCMC) provides free conflict coaching, mediation, facilitation, and conflict management training to residents at convenient times and locations. It offers a confidential, safe space for resolving conflicts, fostering understanding, and creating long-term solutions that meet everyone's needs, with participants maintaining control over the outcomes.ription goes here

Head Start - Carroll County
Carroll County Head Start and Early Head Start is accredited by MSDE. They are a federally funded program that serves children 6 weeks old through preschool children from low-income families. Their focus is on offering experiences that support children's mental, emotional, social, and physical development, while also providing families with resources to help them become strong, independent, and successful.
