Elks Drug Awareness Program Contest

“Drugs are a Grave Mistake”

Are you seeking an effective method to discuss the impact of drugs and alcohol on your children's lives and those in their surroundings? Your search ends here! The Westminster Elks is excited to announce their annual National Drug Awareness Program Contest!

There are three distinct entry levels available for students from 3rd grade to high school. All submissions must be received by February 24th. You can submit your entry via email using the provided link. Additionally, in-person submissions will be accepted on February 24th at the Elks Lodge in Westminster from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Lodge level winners will advance to the state level, with prizes given to winners at each level.

Poster Contest

The contest is open to all 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students.


Essay Contest

The contest is open to all 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students.

Video Contest

Open to Pre-High School, High School, and Post Graduate Students.

All entries need to be accompanied with the following:

  • A signed parents consent (Hold Harmless Agreement)

  • Students Full Name

  • School, Location, Grade

  • Elks lodge name (Westminster Elks Lodge #2277)
